Maa Tujhe Salam Lyrics:-

Here are the lyrics from the popular song "maa tujhe salam". 1996, when Rahman had gone to Bombay (now Mumbai) to attend the Screen Awards ceremony, he met his childhood friend Bharat Bala. During this meeting both had discussed a proposal for an album to commemorate 50 years of Indian Independence in 1997. In 1997, the International music label, Sony Music, entered the Indian market in a big way. They were looking to promote Indian artistes internationally. And the first person to be signed up by Sony Music from the Indian sub-continent was A.R.Rahman, on a three-album contract. The financial details of the contract were not disclosed but Industry experts believe it to be the largest of its kind in India. Rahman suggested the idea that he had discussed with Bharat to Sony Music India and was immediately accepted. Called Vande Mataram, it was a tribute to the motherland and featured songs to mark the three colours of the Indian Flag .

A. R. Rahman conceptualized the album to commemorate the fifty years of India's independence and to pay tribute to India. Prior to the release, Rahman said: "I dedicate this album to the future generations of India. I wish that this album inspires them to grow up with wealth of human values and ethics that this country is made of".Several postcards were supplied with the album, so as to spread messages of aesthetic values.

Maa Tujhe Salam Lyrics:-

Yahan vahan saara jahan dekh liya
Ab tak bhi tere jaisa koi nahin
Main assi nahin, sau din duniya ghooma hai
Naahi kaahe tere jaisa koi nahin
Main gaya jahan bhi, bas teri yaad thi
Jo mere saath thi
mujhko tadpaati rulaati
Sab se pyaari teri soorat
Pyaar hai bas tera, pyaar hi
Maa tujhe salaam, maa tujhe salaam
Amma tujhe salaam
Vande maataram, vande maataram
Vande maataram, vande maataram
Vande maataram, vande maataram
Janam janam tera hoon deewana main
Jhoomoon naachoon gaaoon tere pyaar ka taraana
Main jeena nahin soch nahin duniya ki daulat nahin
Bas lootunga tere pyaar ka khazaana
Ek nazar jab teri
hoti hai pyaar ki
Duniya tab to meri chamke damke maheke re
Tera chehra sooraj jaisa chaand si thand hai pyaar mein
Vande maataram, vande maataram
Vande maataram, vande maataram (vande maataram)
Vande maataram, vande maataram
Tere paas hi main aa raha hoon
Apni baahein khol de
Zor se mujhko gale laga le
Mujhko phir voh pyaar de
Tu hi zindagi hai, tu hi meri mohabbat hai
Tere hi pairon mein jannat hai
Tu hi dil, tu jaan, amma
Maa tujhe salaam, maa tujhe salaam
Amma tujhe salaam, maa tujhe salaam
Vande maataram, vande maataram
Vande maataram, vande maataram
Vande maataram, vande maataram
Vande maataram, vande maataram.

26 January Speech in english for kids:

Republic Day is one of three national holidays in India and is the celebration of the Constitution of India. Government offices, post offices, schools and most businesses are closed on this day.

India became independent from British rule in 1947 but, at that stage, had no formal constitution. On 24 January 1950, after nearly three years of deliberations, the Constitution of India was signed. Two days after this on 26 January the Constitution came into effect across India.

On Republic Day, a grand military parade is held in New Delhi. It begins at the Raisina Hill in the neighborhood of the majestic Rashtrapati Bhawan and passes along the Rajpath ending at India Gate. The prime minister unfurls the National flag then lays a wreath at Amar Jawan Jyoti and presents medals and awards for bravery to soldiers and civilians. The prime minister always has a foreign head of state as a special guest at the ceremony.
A 21-gun salute and military flypast add to the New Delhi celebrations along with colourfully decorated elephants that ride past spectators and carry children who have received the National Bravery Award.

Other ceremonies occur across India presided over by state governors. All the celebrations across India on this day are colourful and joyous events with many opportunities for children to showcase their costumes and cultural dancing skills.

It is a day for many happy festivities and these include very good meals. Some of the favourite foods for Republic Day in India are Tricolor Pulao Rice, Saffron Biryani, Boondi Laddu, Kesaria-Hara Paneer Tikka and of course sweets for the children.

The Republic Day celebrations end three days later on the evening of 29 January with a military celebration that includes the beating of the retreat and is performed by the bands of the three wings of the military, the Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force.

Why Republic Day 2015 is celebrated?

India accomplished autonomy from British administer on 15 August 1947 after the Indian freedom development noted for to a great extent tranquil peaceful safety and common insubordination headed by the Indian National Congress. The autonomy passed through the Indian Independence Act 1947 (10 & 11 Geo 6 c. 30), an Act of the Parliament of the United Kingdom that parceled British India into the two new free Dominions of the British Commonwealth (later Commonwealth of Nations): India and Pakistan.[2] India acquired its autonomy on 15 August 1947 as a protected government with George VI as head of state and the Earl Mountbatten as representative general. The nation, however, did not yet have a lasting constitution; rather its laws were focused around the changed pilgrim Government of India Act 1935. On 28 August 1947, the Drafting Committee was delegated to draft a perpetual constitution, with Dr.b. R. Ambedkar as director. While India's Independence Day praises its opportunity from British Rule, the Republic Day celebrates of coming into energy of its constitution.

A draft constitution was arranged by the council and submitted to the Assembly on 4 November 1947.[3] The Assembly met, in sessions open to open, for 166 days, spread over a time of 2 years, 11 months and 18 prior days receiving the Constitution. After numerous thoughts and a few alterations, the 308 parts of the Assembly marked two manually written duplicates of the archive (one each in Hindi and English) on 24 January 1950. After two days, it went live all through the country.

Nations welcomed as boss visitors for the Republic Day parade. Recent Yugoslavia (twice welcomed) has not been delineated in the guide.

Since 1950, India has been facilitating head of state or legislature of an alternate nation as the state visitor of honor for Republic Day festivals in New Delhi. Amid 1950-1954, Republic Day festivals were sorted out at diverse venues (like Irwin Stadium, Kingsway, Red Fort and Ramlila Grounds).[8] It was just beginning 1955 when the parade in its available structure was composed at Rajpath.[8] The visitor nation is picked after a consideration of vital, financial and political hobbies. Interestingly, Pakistan Food and Agriculture Minister was the second state visitor from that nation for Republic Day in 1965, a couple of days after which the two nations went to a war. Nations which have been welcomed different times incorporate India's neighbors (Bhutan, and Sri Lanka), resistance partners (Russia/USSR, France and Britain), exchange accomplices (Brazil) and NAM associates (Nigeria and recent Yugoslavia). Bhutan and France have the qualification of being the visitor of honor for the most extreme (four) number of times emulated by three visits each from Mauritius and USSR/Russia.
